Since 2054 B.S. (1997 A.D.), Koirala has been active in both journalism and literature, with 25 years of experience in journalism. He worked for 20 years in various positions at Kantipur Publications’ Saptahik and Nari magazines. Koirala began his journalism career with the weekly newspaper Birat National Times, published from Biratnagar.
He has published four books: Uni, Zuckerberg Café, Premalaya, and Parijat. Most recently, he served for two years as the Head of the Literature Department at Onlinekhabar.com. Holding a Master’s degree in Nepali Literature, Koirala is also one of the most popular contemporary writers of the younger generation.
